Terms of Service

Welcome to Quran Bot. By adding Quran Bot to your Discord server, or by interacting with its features and commands, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By authorizing, installing, or interacting with Quran Bot in any Discord guild, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our accompanying Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must immediately remove the bot from your server.

2. Permitted Use and License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to invite and run Quran Bot on your Discord server for the sole purpose of playing Quranic recitations in your voice channels.

  • Personal and Community Use: The bot is intended for use by server members and communities. You may not re-sell, lease, or charge others for accessing the bot's features.
  • Closed Source: Quran Bot is a proprietary project. You may not attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the bot's underlying service, processes, or backend APIs.

3. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

As a server administrator or user of the bot, you agree not to:

  • Abuse or spam command interaction requests to intentionally flood Discord gateways or overload the bot's server resources.
  • Deploy the bot on servers that violate Discord's official Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
  • Attempt to bypass server connection security gates or exploit system resources (such as active FFmpeg streaming processes).

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

Quran Bot is provided on an \"as-is\" and \"as-available\" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the uptime, latency, stability, or availability of the bot. Due to dependencies on the Discord Gateway API and third-party audio hosting servers, streaming may be subject to occasional interruptions, delays, or service downtime.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the developers, contributors, or host providers of Quran Bot be liable for any damages, losses, server disruptions, or data loss arising from the use or inability to use the bot, even if notified of the possibility of such damage.

6. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to terminate, block, or restrict access to Quran Bot for any Discord server or user that is found in violation of these Terms of Service, without prior notice.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted directly to this webpage. Continued use of the bot after updates constitutes agreement to the modified terms.
